
Anthony David Gonzalez, born on the 27th of February, 1976, is an ex-American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL), for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is considered one of the top tight ends in history. Gonzalez holds the NFL's record for receiving yards and receptions as a tight end. Additionally, he ranks third in total receptions. Gonzalez was chosen in the 1st round of the Kansas City Chiefs. He spent his first 12 season with them. In his final five seasons as a player of the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez quit in 2013 and has been an analyst in the football league at NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked with CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pro honors. Gonzalez was well-known for his strength and ability to avoid fumbling. He appeared in 272 of 270 regular-season games and only lost two fumbles with 1,327 touches. In 2019 Gonzalez was admitted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
